Welcome to my portfolio where you’ll find a selection of the work I have proudly led, created, or been part of. Explore my projects to learn more about my work!
WFMY 2CARES Rebrand
I researched and developed the successful re-brand of a local tv news station in the 45th market in the country, home to 740,000 television homes. The process involved internal and external research and data mining. Once developed, it was revealed to station staff and then the community.

WFMY 75
I led a small team to execute a year's worth of projects to celebrate WFMY News 2's 75th anniversary. The planning process began in 2023 and hit the ground running. The celebration involved a year-long commitment to finding and writing archive content for every day of the year (Vault Visits), writing entries for pictures of community members turning 75 (Who's Turning 75), the monthly selection of a community gem (Community Diamond). During the week of the actual anniversary, my team and I produced 11 stories related to anniversary coverage and organized a birthday party open to the entire community.

Station Promotion
As Marketing Director, one of my main responsibilities is producing spots/promos promoting WFMY News 2. They're typically 15 to 30 seconds long. They can range in topic from promoting an upcoming story, to promoting a station event, to promoting the station's brand, to PSAs about Black History Month or Colon Cancer Awareness. I write the spots and then oversee and approve their execution.

Community Initiatives
One of the more fun aspects of my position as Marketing Director is serving as the point of person for the station's community initiatives. I plan, organize, and execute the events in coordination with community leaders. Many of the events are annual events, however, I have also planned successful emergency food and hurricane relief drives.

Internal Culture Curator
As Marketing Director at WFMY News 2, one of my responsibilities is helping keep employees connected and maintaining the station culture. This included the development of internal core values (& a corresponding recognition program), the organization of station events, and the implementation of monitors around the building for the dissemination of information.
